From a passion for the water to a brand built for adventure.

Business context
Bespoke Stoke began with founder Tim Wade and a passion for creating memorable watersports experiences within the world of luxury yachting.

The experience was already there. What was missing was the brand around it.

As the business grew, Tim wanted to turn something that had started from a personal passion into a recognisable brand that could travel with the experience, from the British Virgin Islands to destinations around the world.

The challenge was to create an identity and digital presence that felt as considered, distinctive and full of character as the experience itself.

Adventure, tailored to you.

Positioning
Bespoke Stoke was positioned as a premium, highly personal watersports experience, designed around the individual rather than a one-size-fits-all lesson or excursion.

Whether someone is stepping onto a board for the first time or already knows their way around the water, the experience can flex from 1-to-1 sessions to small groups, adapting to different abilities, ambitions and destinations.

The result is a proposition that sits naturally within the world of luxury travel, offering something more personal, playful and memorable to do along the way.

A brand as individual as the experience.

The Identity
The identity needed to feel premium without becoming polished or predictable. Human without feeling handmade for the sake of it. And energetic enough to capture the spirit of adventure.

At the centre is a bespoke brand mark built from the BS and TW initials, subtly forming references to a globe and splashing water. Its hand-drawn character reinforces the personal nature of the experience, while giving the brand a distinctive visual signature.

Typography plays an equally important role. Balgin brings optimistic, characterful forms with subtle wavy qualities, creating a sense of movement throughout the identity.

A palette inspired by the environment. Kicker Blue, Driftwood Brown, Seafoam, Tropical Zest and Dusky Pink, brings together the colours of the sea, sand and sun with a fresh, playful energy.

Photography is treated with a 33mm-inspired filter and warm colour grading, giving the imagery a nostalgic, sun-kissed quality that makes the experience feel as good as it looks.

Designed to move with the experience.

The System
The identity was built as a complete system across brand, digital and physical touchpoints.

The website brings the idea of movement to life, with typography that catches the wind as you scroll, billowing and flowing like a kite catching a gust or waves moving across the water.

The same sense of personality carries through social content, photography, merchandise and instructor apparel, from graphic tees to bucket hats designed for life in the sun.

Every touchpoint is designed to feel unmistakably Bespoke Stoke while leaving space for the destination, experience and people to take centre stage.

From experience days to an adventure brand built to grow.

Impact
The new identity gives Bespoke Stoke a more established presence to match the quality of the experience, transforming a founder-led service into a distinctive brand with the foundations to scale.

Since launching the new brand, Tim has expanded the team with two additional instructors, helping Bespoke Stoke move beyond a one-person operation and deliver the experience to more people.

What started as a personal passion now has a brand built to carry it further.

‘We'd outgrown the identity we started with. The new brand gives BISON the authority we've always wanted, without losing what made us different’
